Data Controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

  • Company: Sol Software Solutions, SL
  • Tax ID: B56171507
  • Address: Avda. Papa Negro, 33. 28043 Madrid
  • Email: carlos@solsoftwaresolutions.com

Data Collected

We collect the personal data you voluntarily give us through the contact form (name, email, company, role and the content of your message) and the self-assessment (name, email, company and your answers to the questionnaire, which include the size of the company and your role in it). Our hosting provider also logs technical connection data (such as the IP address) for security reasons, and when something fails on the site we keep a technical record of the error (the page, the browser and the error message, without your personal data), kept for up to 90 days, so we can fix it. In the same way, without cookies or personal data, we count the steps completed in the self-assessment, on the workshop page and in the forms (for example, starting the questionnaire or downloading the programme), to see where people get stuck. If you send a form, what happens next on that same visit (for example, downloading the report or an error) is linked to your request through a random identifier; everything before sending stays anonymous.

03

Purpose of Processing

We process your data to respond to your inquiries and requests; if you take the self-assessment, to prepare your report and contact you about the result; and, only if you expressly agree, to send you commercial communications about our services.

04

Legal Basis

The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the contact form or the self-assessment form. Consent to receive commercial communications is separate and optional. You may withdraw any of them at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before.

05

Assessment of your answers

We use your self-assessment answers, your email domain and whether you download the report to classify each request internally and decide how to follow it up (for example, whether we call or write to you). We make no automated decisions that produce legal effects on you or similarly significantly affect you, and you can object to this assessment by writing to the privacy address.

06

Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. We use Netlify, Inc. to host the website and receive contact form messages, acting as data processor. Netlify may process data in the United States; that transfer is covered by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission). Self-assessment answers and contact and workshop form requests are stored and notified to our team with Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.), which also acts as data processor. Technical error records are stored in Microsoft Azure, in the European Union (Spain Central region), with the same processor. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Ireland Limited processes the Google Analytics browsing data; Google may process it in the United States, a transfer covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

07

Your Rights

You may exercise the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: to know what personal data we hold about you
  • Right of rectification: to request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right of erasure: to request deletion of your data
  • Right to object: to object to the processing of your data
  • Right to portability: to receive your data in a structured format
  • Right to restriction: to request limitation of processing

To exercise these rights, you may contact us at carlos@solsoftwaresolutions.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

08

Data Retention

We keep your data until you withdraw your consent and, after that, only for as long as needed to deal with any liabilities arising from the processing.

09

Security

We have implemented the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data and prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or access.

10

Cookies

We only use analytics cookies if you accept them in the cookie notice. With your consent, we load Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited), which set the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies (up to 2 years) to measure, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how people reach them. We use no advertising cookies. If you reject them, nothing from Google is loaded. Your choice is kept for 12 months in our own cookie, sol_consent, which is needed to remember it. You can change it at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page; if you withdraw your consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain.
